Access to Work is a government scheme that provides practical and financial support for disabled and neurodivergent adults in employment or self employment. Many of the clients I work with receive funded coaching through Access to Work to help with executive functioning, overwhelm, communication and confidence at work.
You can apply whether you are employed, self employed, or starting a new role.
Access to Work may be right for you if you are:
• autistic
• ADHD
• dyslexic, dyspraxic or have another neurodivergence
• living with long term mental health challenges
• experiencing difficulties with communication, organisation, overwhelm or workplace expectations
• struggling to cope with your workload or workplace demands
• feeling misunderstood or unsupported at work
• needing practical help to stay in work or feel more confident
A formal diagnosis is not always required.
Access to Work funded coaching can support you with:
• managing executive functioning difficulties
• organisation and planning
• task breakdown and structure
• starting and finishing tasks
• managing overwhelm or burnout
• communication styles and interpersonal issues
• preparing for meetings
• navigating difficult workplace dynamics
• confidence and self advocacy
• sensory and emotional load management
• reducing stress at work
• balancing work with home and life demands
This is specialist neurodivergence-aware coaching tailored to your needs and the realities of your working environment.
ATW may fund:
• 1-to-1 coaching
• specialist workplace strategy coaching
• executive functioning support
• ADHD coaching
• communication and interpersonal skills support
• software, adjustments or equipment
• support for self employed people, including routine planning and business structuring
Coaching is funded at higher rates than counselling because it is a skills-based, workplace-focused intervention.
1. You complete a short online application
The form asks basic questions about your job, your difficulties and what support you feel you need.
2. You have an assessment call
An assessor asks about your challenges at work. You do not need to prepare extensively and I can help you think through what to say.
3. You nominate me as your preferred coach
You can give them my details so they can contact me directly if needed.
4. You receive a decision
Your letter usually includes the amount of coaching funded and for how many hours.
5. Coaching begins
We meet weekly or fortnightly depending on what works best for you.

I specialise in neurodivergent adults and offer:
• executive functioning and ADHD coaching
• life and wellbeing coaching
• workplace communication support
• support for late diagnosed adults
• trauma-informed and ND-affirming practice
• strategies tailored to your real-life capacities
• a whole person approach
• ICF-accredited coach training
My work recognises the emotional side of being neurodivergent while providing practical tools that help you feel more confident at work.
. This is standard for specialist ND coaching. Private coaching fees are listed on my coaching page.
